Managing Risk: Critical Issues for Survival and Success into the 21st Century (ISBN 1-86152-167-7) by Alan Waring and Ian Glendon has sold several thousand copies since its publication in 1998 and the first edition is now in its third reprint. The book is a set book or recommended reading on most of the undergraduate and post-graduate courses in risk management at universities in the UK as well as those in Ireland, Australia and other countries. Now, a special edition translated into Arabic will be published by a Middle East publisher following negotiations with Thomson Learning. This will meet identified demand from universities, business schools, consultancies and corporate managers throughout the Arab world.
