Asbestos Update

The Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002 are now in effect and have replaced the old 1987 version. Among new requirements, employers must carry out a formal assessment of their premises to establish and record in detail the existence or otherwise of asbestos, the adequacy of current control measures and what further risk reduction and risk control measures may be required.
