Singapore Public Transport

AWA has consulting experience in the public transport sector stretching back to 1988 and the Kings Cross underground disaster. Since then, we have carried out assignments for London Underground and the UK rail sector, as well as work on evaluation of civil aviation safety in Eastern Europe. Over the past three years, AWA has carried out fourteen audits and reviews of elements of the public transport system in Singapore. These range from mass and light rapid transit companies to bus and taxi companies. The focus has been on health & safety management systems, major accidents, fire, terrorism and business continuity to meet requirements of the Land Transport Authority and insurers.
